Using comic strips to retell a story is always a fun way for students to get creative.
Have students fold paper in half and then two more times to creates six boxes.
Then students write one or two sentences in each box before they move on to drawing pictures and adding think bubbles or speech bubbles to their characters.
Here are some layout suggestions …
| Beginning of the story | Beginning of the story | Middle of the story |
| Middle of the story | End of the story | End of the story |
| Title and author and comic strip | Characters | Setting |
| Problem | Solution | Reflection / Favorite Part |
