Last year I had my third graders write 3 academic goals and 1 personal goal for the school year in a speech bubble. I then placed a digital printed picture I had taken of them on the first day with the speech bubble coming out of their mouth on the bulletin board. This is a board that can stay up for the whole year, while allowing you and the students to look back on the goals that they set for themselves for the school year. You can also revisit goals every quarter and update the board.
