At the end of the school year when you are looking for things to do with your students during their free time, let them create a bulletin board for you welcoming the new class back to school in the fall. I had my kids trace and cut out their hands to assemble as flowers and in the fall took pictures of new students to place in the center of the flowers. The bulletin board looked great and was up in no time. Have a volunteer help you put it up at the end of the school year and then cover it with newspaper to protect it during the summer.
