Here’s a cute idea for Halloween. Make a small pumpkin-shaped card for each student or have your students make them if they are old enough. You can use construction paper and fold it in half.
Students write “Happy Halloween” on the cover and add their own personalized message on the inside. On the back of the card they make for parents and/or grandparents they can write “From your cutest ‘lil pumpkin in the patch.”
Next, have students dip their thumbs into orange paint and thumbprint all over the cover of their card. Once the paint has dried, students add a stem on each of their pumpkins with a brown crayon.
I have my kids make these during center time and they can make as many as time allows for. They always turn out really cute.
